Bookings, Payment & Cancellations

  • Do I need to make a deposit when booking?
    For bookings with a flexible rate, no deposit is required. On the day of arrival, the total amount of the booking will be automatically charged to the credit card provided.

    For reservations with a non-refundable rate, the total amount will be charged directly at the time of booking via the payment method you selected in advance.

 

  • Which payment methods are accepted?
    For hotel bookings:
    We accept AMEX, Apple Pay, Diners, Discover, Klarna, Maestro, Mastercard, UnionPay (in euros), and Visa. Payment by invoice is only possible upon prior arrangement with Bio-Hotel Schani Wienblick.

    On-site for food, drinks, and other services:
    Payment is possible with cash (euros), debit card, AMEX, Apple Pay, Diners, Discover, Google Pay, JCB, Maestro, Mastercard, UnionPay (in euros), Visa, and Vpay.

 

  • How long can I cancel free of charge?
    Bookings with a flexible rate can be cancelled or rebooked free of charge until 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. If a reservation is cancelled after 3:00 pm on the day of arrival, the entire stay will be charged your right to use the room will become void. Rebookings are subject to availability.

    For reservations with a non-refundable rate, the full amount is charged to the credit card at the time of booking. These reservations cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded. If payment cannot be charged to the credit card, the hotel may cancel the reservation, which forfeits the right to use the room.

 

  • I’m travelling with my dog, is that allowed?
    Yes, dogs are very welcome! For the additional cleaning effort, we charge 19 € per night for your four-legged friend. When booking via our website, you can easily add your dog to your reservation.

 

 

Room & Stay

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    Our rooms are ready for you from 3:00 pm onwards. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage with us and already start discovering beautiful Vienna.

    Check-out is until 11:30 am.

 

  • Is the reception open 24 hours?
    Our reception team is available daily between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. If you arrive after 10:00 pm, please let us know briefly by email. We will then inform you how to check in and get your room key.

 

  • Is there an option for a late check-out?
    Yes, subject to availability, you can extend your stay until 1:30 pm for 10 € per additional hour.

 

  • How many rooms does the hotel have?
    Bio-Hotel Schani Wienblick has 17 rooms.

Food & Drink

  • What are the breakfast hours?
    Our breakfast buffet is available from Monday to Friday between 6:30 am and 10:00 am, and on weekends and public holidays from 7:30 am to 10:30 am.

 

  • How much does breakfast cost?
    Our breakfast buffet costs 22 € per person. You can add breakfast directly when booking. If you’re already here, you’re also welcome to book breakfast spontaneously—just let our reception team know.

 

  • Can external guests also have breakfast at the hotel?
    Of course! Our breakfast is available for both hotel and external guests. If you’d like to reserve a table, simply send us an email. For external guests, the breakfast buffet costs 25 €.

 

  • Is there a bar in the hotel?
    Yes, our bar is the perfect place for delicious drinks after a long day of sightseeing or an extensive hike. The bar is open from Monday to Saturday between 2:00 pm and 9:30 pm, and on Sundays until 8:00 pm.

 

  • Can external guests also visit your bar?
    Of course, we always love welcoming new faces!

Arrival, Mobility & Accessibility

  • Where can I find Bio-Hotel Schani Wienblick?
    Bio-Hotel Schani Wienblick is located on Vienna’s Gallitzinberg. The address is Johann-Staud-Straße 32. Detailed arrival information can be found here.

 

  • Is there parking available?
    Yes, you can park your car in our hotel’s private parking area, depending on availability. Unfortunately, parking spaces cannot be reserved.

    If our parking lot is full, you can also park on the street. Please note that street parking is subject to charges on weekdays between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm. Our reception team will be happy to help you with a parking ticket. On weekends, public holidays, and weekdays between 10:00 pm and 9:00 am, street parking is free.

 

  • How can I reach the hotel by public transport?
    The best way is to take bus lines 46A or 46B. Both lines depart from the U3 subway terminal station in Ottakring and will bring you directly to our doorstep in just 10 minutes.

 

  • Is there an airport shuttle?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer an airport shuttle. However, we are happy to help you organize an airport taxi. Just send us an email in advance of your arrival.

 

Digital Travel Companion

  • What can our digital travel companion do for you?
    We have digitalized lots of things, so you can really focus on enjoying your stay in Vienna. You can fill out all your personal details on our form in advance of your arrival using our Web App. This means you can do your mobile check-in and mobile check-out simply and easily via smartphone. We will send you all the information you need beforehand by email.

    Your smartphone will also become your room key thanks to our Web App. Your mobile key will be ready to download directly after check-in. However, should you prefer a good old-fashioned key card, we will gladly give you one.
