Open To Every Guest’s Wish

Our kosher-friendly extras

In the neighborhood around the Karmeliter market, urban city life meets Jewish tradition. Inspired by this unique atmosphere, we created Hotel Schani City as a place of diversity and connection. With many thoughtful details, we want our Jewish guests to feel completely at home with us – from the kosher breakfast you can add to your booking up to one day before arrival, to the small extras found in our kosher-friendly rooms.

From Hat Rack To Fridge Drawer

Kosher-friendly stay in Vienna

Many of our double, triple, and family rooms are equipped to be kosher-friendly – with practical touches like a dedicated space hat and a small fridge for your favorite food. To make your stay during Shabbat easier, you can also request a traditional key instead of a key card, and use lamp covers to darken bedside lights without switching them off.

A Delightful Start To The Day

Kosher breakfast

So that our guests who follow a kosher diet can also have a delightful start to their day, we work with a specialized restaurant in our immediate neighborhood. There, the kosher breakfast is freshly prepared every day and delivered directly to our hotel. You can easily add the kosher breakfast to your booking as an add-on up to one day before your arrival and enjoy it either in the breakfast area or comfortably in your room.

An Oasis In The City

Discover the Mazze Island

Vienna’s 2nd district, nestled between the Danube and the Danube Canal, is affectionately called “Mazze Island” by locals. It’s the heart of Vienna’s Jewish community, with numerous kosher restaurants and supermarkets just steps away from Hotel Schani City. The Vienna City Temple is also within walking distance – perfect for a leisurely stroll through the lively Leopoldstadt district.
