Our Bar on Mariahilfer Strasse

We have created the perfect retreat in an Art Nouveau building right on bustling Mariahilfer Strasse: our Salon bar and its friendly atmosphere encourage you to linger a little bit longer than planned. It is easy to forget that you are actually right in the city’s busiest shopping mile when you sit down together. Especially as the menu offers everything from coffee and cake to delicious drinks and selected wines.

The Viennese love to sit in a coffeehouse for hours on end, reveling in the atmosphere and having one or several cups of coffee – whether espresso, flat white, Americano or cappuccino.

 

We have revived this tradition in our lobby: careful details, such as the classic marble tables and newspaper holders, conjure up the unique atmosphere of a Viennese coffeehouse in the Art Nouveau style. The organic coffee by Julius Meinl is a treat for your palate and, exclusively for hotel guests, free of charge throughout the day.

The Salon bar is the hub of our hotel and the ideal place to revive Viennese parlour culture. We also enjoy to philosophize and discuss lots of different topics, just like the great, turn-of-the-century poets and philosophers.

 

As a result, our bar on Mariahilfer Strasse is a meeting spot for locals and hotel guests alike, to come together, enjoy great drinks and maybe even try out one of the games in our collection.

We are here to help you enjoy your day around the clock: we are happy to welcome our hotel guests 24/7. Our bar is also open for external guests until 10 p.m., seven days a week. And for all the dog lovers out there: just bring your beloved dog with you! Your four-legged friends are always welcome.

 

Are you more of a morning person rather than a night owl? If this is the case, our breakfast buffet will be just for you. We will spoil you with a wide variety of regional and seasonal, organic treats from 7 a.m. onwards.
