Booking, Payment & Cancellations

  • Do I need to make a deposit when booking?
    For bookings with a flexible rate, no deposit is required. On the day of arrival, the total amount of the booking will be automatically charged to the credit card provided.

    For reservations with a non-refundable rate, the total amount will be charged directly at the time of booking via the payment method you selected in advance.

 

  • Which payment methods are accepted?
    For hotel bookings:
    We accept AMEX, Apple Pay, Diners, Discover, Klarna, Maestro, Mastercard, UnionPay (in euros), and Visa. Payment by invoice is only possible upon prior arrangement with Hotel Schani UNO City.

    On-site for food, drinks, and other services:
    Payment is possible with cash (euros), debit card, AMEX, Apple Pay, Diners, Discover, Google Pay, JCB, Maestro, Mastercard, UnionPay (in euros), Visa, and Vpay.

 

  • How long can I cancel free of charge?
    Bookings with a flexible rate can be cancelled or rebooked free of charge until 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. If a reservation is cancelled after 3:00 pm on the day of arrival, the entire stay will be charged your right to use the room will become void. Rebookings are subject to availability.

    For reservations with a non-refundable rate, the full amount is charged to the credit card at the time of booking. These reservations cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded. If payment cannot be charged to the credit card, the hotel may cancel the reservation, which forfeits the right to use the room.

 

  • I’m travelling with my dog, is that allowed?
    Yes, dogs are very welcome! For the additional cleaning effort, we charge 19 € per night for your four-legged friend. When booking via our website, you can easily add your dog to your reservation.

Rooms & Stay

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    Our rooms are ready for you from 3:00 pm onwards. If you arrive earlier, you can store your luggage in one of our lockers and start exploring beautiful Vienna.

    Check-out is until 12:00 noon.

 

  • Is the reception open 24 hours?
    Yes, our reception team is here for you around the clock. You can check in 24/7. If you arrive at the hotel after midnight, please let us know briefly by email.

 

  • Is there an option for a late check-out?
    Yes, subject to availability, you can extend your stay until 1:00 pm for 10 € per additional hour.

 

  • How often will my room be cleaned?
    Out of love for the environment, we clean your room during your stay only upon request. You are welcome to let us know at check-in if you would like daily cleaning throughout your stay.

    If you decide spontaneously that you would like your room cleaned, simply hang the green door sign on your door handle before 11:00 am. Our housekeeping team will then clean your room the same day, of course free of charge.

 

  • How many rooms does the hotel have?
    Hotel Schani Naschmarkt has 90 rooms.

Breakfast

  • What are the breakfast hours?
    Our breakfast buffet is available Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, and on weekends and public holidays from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

 

  • How much does breakfast cost?
    Our breakfast buffet costs 27 € per person. You can add breakfast directly when booking. If you’re already with us, you can also book it spontaneously – just let our reception team know.

 

  • Can external visitors also have breakfast?
    Of course! Our breakfast is available to both hotel and external guests. So grab your friends or family and visit us at Hotel Schani Naschmarkt. For external guests, the breakfast buffet costs 27 €

  • Is there a bar or restaurant in the hotel?
    Yes, our rooftop bar is the perfect place to enjoy the view over Vienna while having a good drink. In our kitchen, we treat you to selected delicacies throughout the day.

 

  • Can external guests visit the Bar & Kitchen?
    Yes, we always look forward to seeing new faces at the Vieami Rooftop Bar & Kitchen!

Arrival, Mobility & Accessibility

  • Where can I find Hotel Schani Naschmarkt?
    Our address is Linke Wienzeile 130A. You’ll find our hotel just a few minutes’ walk from the Pilgramgasse underground station and the Naschmarkt. You can find detailed directions about your arrival here.

 

  • Is there a parking garage at the hotel?
    No, our hotel does not have its own parking garage. However, you can park your car at a discounted rate of 29 € per day in the nearby Hofmühlgasse garage. The parking garage is open 24 hours a day and is located on Hofmühlgasse, at the corner of Mollardgasse.

 

  • How can I reach the hotel by public transport?
    The Pilgramgasse underground station on line U4 is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. At the station, we recommend taking the Ramperstorffergasse exit, crossing the bridge, and then walking along Wienzeile to reach our hotel.

 

  • Is there an airport shuttle?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer an airport shuttle. However, we’re happy to help you arrange an airport taxi. Simply send us an email in good time before your arrival.

 

  • Is the hotel accessible?
    Yes, the rooms at Hotel Schani Naschmarkt are fully wheelchair accessible, as are all public areas. We also have three rooms specifically designed to meet the needs of guests using wheelchairs.

    Yes, there is plenty of space to safely park your bicycle.

Digital Travel Companion

  • What can our digital travel companion do for you?
    We have digitalized lots of things, so you can really focus on enjoying your stay in Vienna. You can fill out all your personal details on our form in advance of your arrival using our Web App. This means you can do your mobile check-in and mobile check-out simply and easily via smartphone. We will send you all the information you need beforehand by email.

    Your smartphone will also become your room key thanks to our Web App. Your mobile key will be ready to download directly after check-in. However, should you prefer a good old-fashioned key card, we will gladly give you one.
